Disabled Veterans' Real Estate Tax Exemption

Full property tax exemption on your home (need-based)

Pennsylvania exempts the primary residence from real estate tax for a resident veteran who is honorably discharged, 100% disabled from a service-connected disability, and shows financial need. As of 2025 the state presumes financial need below a set income level ($114,637), and veterans' benefits no longer count toward that need test.
