New Mexico fully exempts the primary residence of a 100% service-connected disabled veteran from property tax; recent law also provides an exemption scaled to the veteran's disability percentage below 100%. Separately, veterans get a general property tax exemption (raised to $10,000 of taxable value in 2025).

New Mexico gives a free lifetime small-game hunting and fishing license to veterans rated 100% service-connected disabled, a $10 small-game & fishing license to other service-connected disabled veterans, and 50% off all licenses/permits/stamps to resident active-duty and honorably discharged veterans.
