Tuition Assistance (TA)
Up to $4,500/year paid directly to schools while on active duty. Covers college, vocational, and graduate courses.
Who qualifies: Active duty, National Guard.
Tuition Assistance is available while still on active duty (or during Guard/Reserve activations in some cases):
• Up to $4,500 per fiscal year
• Up to $250 per semester hour (or equivalent)
• Covers undergraduate, graduate, and vocational/technical courses
• Paid directly to the school
• Can be combined with GI Bill benefits in some cases
