University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Military Discount
Reduced military tuition rate; longtime DoD education partner
University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) was founded to serve the U.S. military and remains one of the largest providers of education to active duty members worldwide, with classes offered on installations and online across the globe. UMGC offers a reduced military tuition rate for active duty service members and many programs extend reduced rates to eligible spouses and dependent children.
UMGC charges no application fee, provides no-cost digital course materials for most courses, and awards substantial credit for military training, CLEP/DSST testing, and prior coursework — many service members transfer in 60–90 credits. It is a Yellow Ribbon school accepting Post-9/11 GI Bill and Tuition Assistance.
Programs span business, cybersecurity, data analytics, IT, and management, with frequent start dates designed around deployments and PCS moves.
