How to redeem
- Go to linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/military and verify through SheerID.
- Upload your DD-214 or other military documentation when prompted.
- Once verified (usually within 24 hours), Premium activates on your existing LinkedIn account.
- Enroll in LinkedIn Learning courses relevant to your target career — completed courses show on your profile.
Tips
- Activate Premium before your job search — recruiters are more likely to reach out to Premium profiles.
- Complete at least 3–5 LinkedIn Learning certifications before applying — they appear as credentials.
- Use the "Open to Work" setting to signal recruiters while your profile is optimized.
