Flat military rate: $250/credit undergrad, $290/credit grad + waived app fee
Liberty University Online offers flat discounted military tuition: $250 per credit hour for undergraduate certificates, associate, and bachelor's programs, and $290 per credit hour for graduate certificates and master's degrees. Liberty also offers a 15% tuition discount to new online students whose parent(s) served honorably.
Liberty waives the application fee for military students, provides book vouchers/free curriculum on many courses, and accepts up to 75% of a degree in transfer credit (including ACE-evaluated military training via the JST). It is a Yellow Ribbon school accepting Post-9/11 GI Bill and Tuition Assistance.
Liberty is regionally accredited and offers 700+ online programs with eight start dates per year, making it one of the most flexible options for deployable members and frequently relocating military families.
How to redeem
- Visit liberty.edu/military and start your application — the application fee is waived for military students.
- Provide your military ID or DD-214 to lock in the flat rate ($250/credit undergrad, $290/credit grad).
- Submit your Joint Services Transcript — Liberty accepts up to 75% of a degree in transfer credit.
- Work with Liberty's Military Affairs office to apply GI Bill, Tuition Assistance, Yellow Ribbon, and book vouchers.

- Children of honorably-discharged veterans get a separate 15% discount — different from the active/veteran flat rate.
