Up to $23,444 (FY2026) for less severe service-connected disabilities requiring home modification.
Who qualifies: Veterans with a service-connected disability.
The SHA grant assists veterans with certain service-connected disabilities in adapting their home – generally for less severe mobility impairments than the SAH grant.
• Up to $23,444 in FY2026
• For veterans with service-connected blindness, loss of hands, or other specific conditions
• Can be used up to 3 times (lifetime limit applies)
