HUD-VASH (Housing Vouchers for Homeless Veterans)
Permanent housing vouchers combined with VA case management services for homeless or at-risk veterans.
Who qualifies: Veterans, Veterans with a service-connected disability.
The HUD-VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines HUD Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) with VA case management and clinical services.
• Veterans receive rental vouchers to obtain permanent housing
• VA provides ongoing case management, mental health, substance use, and other services
• Available to homeless veterans or those at imminent risk of homelessness
• Apply through your local VA Medical Center
