The VA Veterans Pension is a needs-based benefit for wartime veterans with limited income and net worth.
Eligibility:
• Served in active duty during a wartime period
• 65+ years old OR permanently and totally disabled
• Meet income and net worth limits
Additional amounts are available through:
• Aid & Attendance – for those needing help with daily living
• Housebound – for those confined to home
Surviving spouses and children of wartime veterans may qualify for Survivors Pension.
