$225/month when serving in a designated high-risk combat zone.
Who qualifies: Active duty, National Guard.
Hostile Fire Pay (HFP) and Imminent Danger Pay (IDP) are special pays earned when service members are subjected to hostile fire or serve in areas where they may be in danger of attack.
• $225/month flat rate
• Available to active duty and Guard/Reserve on orders
• Qualifies for combat zone tax exclusion
