Survivors Pension (formerly Death Pension) is a needs-based benefit for eligible surviving family members of wartime veterans:

• Surviving spouse must not have remarried (before age 57 in most cases)
• Must meet income and net worth limits
• Aid & Attendance and Housebound add-ons available

Calculated as the difference between your income and the maximum annual pension rate (MAPR).
