Drill Pay (Guard/Reserve)

Pay for monthly drills and annual training. 3.8% raise in 2026. Based on rank and years of service.

Who qualifies: National Guard.

Guard and Reserve members earn drill pay for weekend drill periods (typically one weekend per month = 4 drill periods = 2 days of base pay) and annual training (typically 2 weeks).

• 3.8% increase effective January 1, 2026
• Based on same pay scale as active duty (but 2 days per drill weekend)
• No BAH or BAS for drill weekends unless on orders
• Full active duty pay, BAH, and BAS apply during deployments and activations
