Commissary (DeCA – Defense Commissary Agency):

• Eligible: active duty, retirees, Guard/Reserve, and dependents
Exchange (AAFES / NEX / MCX / CGX):
• Tax-free retail shopping
• Electronics, clothing, food, automotive, and services
• Prices typically 10—20% below civilian retail
• All exchange profits fund military morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR)
Online Shopping for Veterans:

• Tax-free, free shipping
• No installation access required

• Food courts, barber shops, dry cleaners, gas stations
• Auto service centers (often lowest prices in the area)
• Optical and hearing aid centers
