Blue Star Museums — Free Admission (Summer)
Free admission to 2,000+ museums nationwide for active duty military and their families – Armed Forces Day through Labor Day each year.
Who qualifies: Active duty, National Guard.
Blue Star Museums is an annual program run by the National Endowment for the Arts:
• Free admission to 2,000+ participating museums nationwide
• Runs from Armed Forces Day (May) through Labor Day (September) each year
• In 2026: May 16 — September 7
• Covers active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, Coast Guard, Guard/Reserve (regardless of status), Public Health Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps
• Up to 5 family members admitted free with the service member
• Includes art, science, history, children's museums, and more
