Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Free Ride Program
Free transportation to VA medical appointments through DAV volunteer driver network nationwide.
Who qualifies: Veterans, Veterans with a service-connected disability.
The DAV Transportation Network provides free rides to VA medical appointments:
• Volunteer drivers take veterans to and from VA facilities
• Completely free to the veteran
• Available at most VA Medical Centers nationwide
• Particularly valuable for veterans in rural areas or without transportation
• Also available through VA Beneficiary Travel program (mileage reimbursement)
