Cisco supports transitioning service members through the free Cisco Networking Academy (including the Veterans Program) and DoD SkillBridge fellowships in networking, security, and IT roles. Training prepares you for in-demand certifications (CCNA and beyond) at no cost.
How to redeem
- Explore free courses and the Veterans Program at netacad.com and enroll in a learning path (e.g., CCNA).
- For a SkillBridge fellowship, search Cisco roles on skillbridge.osd.mil and apply 180 days before separation.
- Active duty: obtain commanding-officer approval for any SkillBridge fellowship.
