What they do
Special operations forces are small, highly trained teams conducting direct action, special reconnaissance, unconventional warfare, and personnel recovery. Pipelines are long and attrition is high: Army Special Forces (Green Berets), Navy SEALs and SWCC, Air Force Pararescue, Combat Control, and Special Reconnaissance, and Marine Raiders each run their own grueling selection and qualification.
Beyond the ASVAB, you must pass an elite physical and mental screening.
